Three things make the first reply useful rather than a request for more information.
How much are you looking for, and what for?
A range is fine. Knowing whether it is a $20,000 equipment purchase or $250,000 for a second location changes which product makes sense, and we would rather say so in the first reply.
Roughly what does the business turn over?
A monthly or annual figure, however approximate. It is the single fastest way for us to tell you whether we are the right funder for you — and if we are not, to say so quickly.
How long has it been trading?
We fund businesses trading six months or more. If you are younger than that, say so and we will tell you honestly rather than run you through an application that cannot end well.
